A significant milestone has been achieved within the #Playforeveryone initiative with the successful completion of a project. Pinewood Way Park now boasts a newly constructed path that greatly enhances accessibility for all visitors. The implementation of this path has eliminated the inconvenience of dealing with muddy buggy wheels and struggling with mobility aids on muddy terrain, making the park more inclusive and welcoming to people of all abilities.
This commendable project was made possible through the funding support provided by the dedicated Salisbury City Council's parks team. Their commitment to improving community spaces and ensuring equal access to recreational areas has resulted in a positive impact on the local community. The completion of this project not only enhances the physical environment but also promotes social inclusion and encourages outdoor activities for individuals from diverse backgrounds.
This sees the completion of the first project amongst the #Playforeveryone project that will see more parks and green spaces and accessible equipment in parks.
