The Disability Interest Group team recently participated in a private viewing of "The Art of Salisbury River Park" at Salisbury Library. The event featured a combination of artwork and music, creating a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. Attendees engaged in conversations with project leaders, council members, and others. However, the highlight of the evening was captured in a photo of Karen and Justin. Justin, who has a dual sensory loss, found a unique way to experience music thanks to Karen's innovative approach. Instead of just standing near a speaker as he had done before without success, Karen allowed Justin to hold the bass clarinet while she played. The smile on Justin's face speaks volumes about the success of this new method.
